Following completion of the triple acquisition of DesignStudio, Analog and Pixel Artworks, Waterland Private Equity has launched the Further Group - a new end-to-end creative group, offering a comprehensive suite of services spanning branding, content and experiences.

Further’s current clients include blue-chip, mid-market and government organisations diversified across tech, fashion and travel. The group will be headquartered in London, with additional offices in New York, Sydney and Dubai.

With Waterland’s support, Further aims to add expertise across the creative value chain whilst scaling internationally. The group will be positioned advantageously to provide a more cohesive client experience, overcoming the industry pain points by combining brand, content and experiences, creating a differentiated proposition in the market.

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Waterland Private Equity on its investment in Further and each of the initial acquisitions, which form part of a larger buy and build strategy for the group. The transaction was led by recently promoted Private Equity Partner, Seamus McKimm, with support from Associates, Jack Harris, Demi Joannides, Courtney Cox and Jay Eng.

A number of OC specialists supported on the transaction including Tracey Wright (Partner, Tax), Anna Reynolds (Senior Associate, Tax), Lara Fatemi (Associate Director, Employment), Sarah Smith (Associate, Employment), Sam Marriott (Associate Director, Incentives), Laura Hanley (Associate Director, Banking), Jon Dodds (Senior Associate, Banking) and Sarah Yeo (Associate, Banking).

"We are very excited to have partnered with Analog, DesignStudio and Pixel Artworks to form a unique proposition for both clients and creatives. Combining the end-to-end creative capabilities that we set out to secure was reliant on merging multiple businesses and that wouldn’t have been possible with Osborne Clarke’s help”.

commented Nick Manning, who led the transaction for Waterland
