Osborne Clarke advises AI-powered risk assessment platform nettle on £1.45M pre-seed funding round

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised nettle, an AI-powered platform that revolutionises commercial insurance by streamlining risk assessment, on its £1.45M pre-seed funding round.
The funding round was led by early-stage tech investor Project A, alongside top angel investors from major insurers, startups, and insurance & AI leaders. With this funding, nettle is scaling out its core engineering team, accelerating the risk assessment process in commercial insurance and enabling knowledge transfer to future generations of risk engineers.
The Osborne Clarke team advising on this matter was led by Partner Mathias Loertscher and senior associate Uday Mehra, both in the firm's Corporate team.
