Simon is an experienced corporate partner with over 20 years of experience supporting clients across the mobility industry, advising leading corporates and innovative startups on M&A work, investments, reorganisations, and complex partnerships.
He also leads on strategically important transactions that typically involve digital transformation, such as e-mobility, mobility as a service, online automotive retail, connected, autonomous and shared vehicles, as well as the more established transport modes.
Simon qualified in September 2000, joined Osborne Clarke the same year and became a partner in 2006. From 2016 to 2022 he was Head of the firm's international Mobility and Infrastructure sector. He regularly speaks at international conferences on transport and mobility matters and is known for his focus on smart cities and how transport is changing to fit the urban mobility demands of the future.
While Simon strives to achieve transactional success for his clients in the most pragmatic and representative way, he also delivers added value thanks to his deep understanding of the sectors within which these transactions are being made. It means he can bring more than legal expertise to the table, providing commercial context and a vital comprehension of the inherent risks attached to the industries he works with.
