Osborne Clarke has advised IONIQ Skincare GmbH & Co. KG on the entry of Graphit Lifestyle as an investor with a 20% stake.

Originally founded as a corporate start-up of the WAGNER Group, IONIQ Skincare has established itself as a pioneer in skincare technology. After eight years of research, the company presented its award-winning electrohydrodynamic skincare system in 2021, which enables a contactless, even and efficient application thanks to Magnetic Skin Technology. IONIQ Skincare's range of skincare products, manufactured in Switzerland, includes self-tanners, sun protection, and body care products; further product categories are in development.

Graphit Lifestyle, a combination of investment company and marketing agency specialising in the development and promotion of innovative brands in the beauty and lifestyle sector, is now entering with a 20% stake.

This step marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at sustainably accelerating IONIQ Skincare's growth in the beauty care market. The declared goal is to make IONIQ Skincare more present not only in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets but also to create international perspectives.

The Osborne Clarke team advising IONIQ Skincare, led by Dr Björn Hürten, consisted of Julian Baldus, Efthimios Detsikas, Dr Patrick Stadtbäumer, Lisa Gerards, Matthias Elser, Dana Alpar (all Corporate / M&A), Dr Johannes Graf Ballestrem, Dr Stephan Reisner (both Patent Law / IP) and Marc-Philipp Lücke (Disputes & Risk).

Graphit Lifestyle was advised by Lutz Abel, consisting of a team led by Philipp Hoene, Roman Krug, Dr Cornelius Renner, Isabelle Hohl and Ute Schenn.
