Osborne Clarke has advised Griffin Capital Partners, a Polish investor and a private equity and real estate asset management firm, and Redefine Properties, a South African investor, on the acquisition of Stokado – one of the largest self-storage chains in Poland with facilities in several locations.
The legal assistance in the transaction was provided by Osborne Clarke lawyers: Agata Demuth (partner), Piotr Brzózka (senior associate), Aleksandra Sztajer (senior associate), Katarzyna Chruślińska (associate) and Michalina Skarżyńska (junior associate). The scope of legal works consisted of a due diligence review as well as transaction structuring and drafting and negotiating the transaction documentation. Tax and financial assistance was provided by MDDP – Polish advisory firm.
Through the transaction, Griffin Capital Partners and Redefine Properties seek to leverage their expertise to develop Stokado's facilities in strategic locations, aiming to become a major player in the Polish market.
