Osborne Clarke has advised akquinet GmbH, an IT services company headquartered in Hamburg, on the acquisition of Enghofer Koch Consulting GmbH.
The akquinet group of companies, headquartered in Hamburg, has 950 employees and currently has over 20 locations in Germany and Austria. The company specialises in the implementation of ERP systems and the individual development of software solutions. akquinet operates four data centres in Hamburg, Norderstedt and Itzehoe for its customers.
akquinet's SAP division currently employs about 155 people in five companies. The division has many years of experience in the SAP environment with industry and process expertise in manufacturing/production, logistics, trade, public administration and the social economy. The company is now expanding these resources: As part of its dedicated growth strategy in SAP services, the company has acquired Enghofer Koch Consulting GmbH. The takeover was successfully completed on 27 April.
Enghofer Koch Consulting from Grünwald in southern Germany offers SAP consulting services from the conception to the implementation of solutions in companies. The technical consulting focus is particularly on accounting and controlling. This makes it an ideal addition to akquinet's existing expertise.
“With Enghofer Koch Consulting, we welcome a company with great SAP know-how to akquinet. It perfectly complements our orientation in the SAP area and fits very well with us in terms of mentality and approach,” says Thomas Muszal, one of akquinet's managing directors.
