Sarah Bohn-Brauchle is a Berlin-based Associate of Osborne Clarke's White Collar team. She advises and represents companies, but also board members, supervisory board members and executives in all types of criminal and administrative offence proceedings.

Furthermore, Sarah’s expertise focuses on preparing, performing, and evaluating internal investigations when there is suspicion that a criminal or an administrative offense has been committed within a company. She helps the company to clarify the facts of the case by preparing and conducting interviews of employees / executives in a structured manner as well as carrying out on-site inspections and other measures such as sifting and assessing potential evidence. In addition to that, she coordinates the documentation of the investigation as is required from a compliance perspective, assists companies in systematically analyzing legal violations and their cause, identifying weak spots, and laying the foundations for preventing future misconduct within the company. Subsequent to the execution of the said investigation measures, and based on the findings resulting therefrom, Sarah advises the client on follow-up issues in the field of criminal law – always focusing on how to protect the company’s reputation in the best way possible.

Sarah is actively involved in Osborne Clarke's pro bono work as a member of the Afghanistan Initiative. In cooperation with an international NGO, the Initiative prepares submissions for particularly vulnerable Afghans under the Federal Admission Program for Afghanistan, assists those seeking protection in Germany throughout the process and provides support with regard to further humanitarian admission options.

Sarah studied law at Humboldt-University of Berlin. Before joining Osborne Clarke in 2022, she worked at a German law firm.

Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world

From a compliance perspective, companies are obliged to investigate legal violations that have been committed within or outside the company and to put a lasting stop to them. With my practical experience and legal expertise, I support companies throughout the entire internal investigation process – from the first hint to the initiation of the necessary legal measures.
