Adrian Schneider

Adrian Schneider advises national and international companies in the areas of IT law, data protection, cybersecurity and copyright, particularly on legal issues with a strong technical focus.
Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Adrian worked for more than ten years as a software developer for web, mobile and games. He therefore focuses on technology regulation and legal advice on the development and implementation of innovative IT products, including cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence. He also has experience advising regulated industries, in particular insurance companies, on the legal aspects of digital transformation.
Adrian is the author of several legal publications. He was co-founder and author of one of Germany's leading IT law blogs and a member of the advisory boards of the legal journals "Datenschutz-Berater" and "Kommunikation & Recht".
At Osborne Clarke, Adrian leads the Risk & Compliance workstream of the international AI Management Board.
After studying law in Marburg and Münster, he completed his legal training in Cologne, Bonn and London, including at the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
