Osborne Clarke advises Expedition Growth Capital on their investment in epilot

Osborne Clarke has advised the British investment company Expedition Growth Capital on their first ever investment in Germany in the amount of EUR 10 million into IT company epilot. 

epilot was founded in 2017 by Michel Nicolai, Szilard Toth and Rolf Benken in Cologne, with the aim of enabling companies to digitally transition to green energy. The company's cloud-based all-in-one solution standardises processes and reduces complexity for enterprise customers. This allows energy providers to increase efficiency in handling customer inquiries and managing installation companies. Network operators can use the software to reduce bottlenecks and manage the increasing registrations of customer systems.

Now, growth capital provider Expedition Growth Capital has provided a financing of EUR 10 million. The funds are intended to accelerate the implementation of epilot's product roadmap. The approximately 100-strong team in Cologne shall be significantly expanded, particularly the product development team, to develop new functions for the platform and to expand its AI features.
