Rouven Siegemund

Rouven Siegemund advises German and international companies on all areas of German corporate law, focusing on M&A transactions, venture capital financing, and start-ups.
Rouven is member of Osborne Clarke’s “India Desk” and advises large Indian corporations on their M&A activities in Germany.
As much, he advises venture capital investors from all over the world in relation to their investments in promising German companies and German start-ups in all stages of development – from establishing and expanding their businesses to the exit.
Rouven joined Osborne Clarke in 2010. In 2016, he worked in Osborne Clarke’s Silicon Valley offices in Palo Alto and San Francisco, helping US clients in particular with their expansion into Europe. He continues to advise clients on their international expansion plans as a member of Osborne Clarke’s “International Expansion & Growth” practice.
Rouven studied law in Cologne/Germany and Clermont-Ferrand/France. During his legal traineeship, he spent three months in Montréal/Canada where he worked for the prestigious Canadian law firm Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP.
In addition to his professional practice as a lawyer, Rouven is involved with numerous national and international start-up events in the capacity as coach, mentor, and jury member.
