Robert Briske represents and advises international and domestic clients in the field of intellectual property law.
He has a special focus on trademark, copyright and unfair competition litigation as well as extrajudicial representation.
In addition he has special expertise in the area of information technology, press law as well as licensing and distribution. His work encompasses litigation at all levels of courts, including infringement litigation before the civil courts and invalidity cases before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the German Federal Patent Court, and the European Courts. Robert's international and domestic clients include companies in the industry sectors sports, entertainment, media, fashion, consumer goods, tourism and tech, media and comms.
Robert studied law at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and received the academic degree Master of Medicine, Ethics and Law (M.mel.) During his legal traineeship in Hamburg, he worked for a leading search engine, a public broadcasting station as well as for the chambers for press law and copyright law at the Regional Court Hamburg.
