BGF – one of the largest and most experienced investors in the UK and Ireland – has invested £16.5 million in Twenty7tec to drive its growth and expansion within the UK.

Based in Bournemouth and founded in 2014, Twenty7tec has rapidly become a cornerstone of the UK mortgage technology landscape and is a growing favourite for advisers in the wealth space.

International legal practice Osborne Clarke advised BGF. The team was led by corporate partner Rob Hayes with associate director Robert Pook, senior associate Sian Daly, and associates Olivier Jacquelin and John Annan. Tax advice was provided by partners Mat Oliver and Tracey Wright and senior associate Anna Reynolds. Incentives advice came from partner Michael Carter, associate director Rhiannon Jones, associate Maryam Khalifa and senior associate Stuart Rose.

Over 16,000 mortgage, protection and wealth advisers use the Twenty7tec platform daily, and favour its efficient and accurate data to deliver customer excellence and navigate the complex regulatory environment. Recent investment in its CRM platform FINPLAN and digital marketing solution, COMMUNICATE, have significantly extended the company's integrated solutions in both the mortgage and wealth advisory markets.

BGF’s investment will enable Twenty7Tec to accelerate its product development roadmap, enhance its technology infrastructure, and explore new market opportunities. Funding will also support the company in further expanding its team of industry experts, ensuring it continues to deliver exceptional service and innovation to its growing customer base.
