Osborne Clarke has advised venture capital fund Segenia Capital on the latest financing round of InsurTech start-up Thinksurance.
As a technology partner, Thinksurance offers its customers an omni-channel software for insurance advice with a digital platform. With the help of the technology, the entire sales process can be digitally mapped from the needs analysis to the conclusion. In addition, users from the insurance industry are given the opportunity of market-oriented and dynamic product and pricing design by means of comprehensive data and analysis tools. The advisory platform is already used by more than 50,000 intermediaries.
And it is set to grow even further: That is why the Frankfurt-based InsurTech has now completed a financing round with a total volume of EUR 22 million. The financing round was led by the venture capital fund Segenia Capital, the InsurTech specialists Viewpoint Ventures and M-Tech Capital. In addition, existing investor Eight Roads Ventures, a global venture capital investor, and Columbia Lake Partners participated in the round.
With the newly acquired capital, Thinksurance plans comprehensive investments in the expansion of the platform. In addition to additional enhancements for insurance brokers, the offering will also be strategically expanded for other customer groups such as agents and industry brokers.
