Osborne Clarke has advised the sellers of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform DemoUp Cliplister on its sale to the E-Commerce Software Group of Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

The Berlin-based company DemoUp Cliplister, which was formed in 2021 from the merger of the two SaaS platforms DemoUp and Cliplister, is a leader in digital product presentation. The company provides its clients with customised content for online shops, including product videos, 3D animations, and automatic image resizing to optimise loading times. Additionally, the platform offers solutions for the management, distribution, and analysis of visual content.

Global brands and retailers in the fields of consumer electronics, DIY, household goods, and sports use DemoUp Cliplister's offerings to optimally prepare their visual content and display it at the touch of a button through integrated interfaces on the websites of online retailers. This is intended to enhance the digital shopping experience and increase e-commerce revenue.

Now, the E-Commerce Software Group, supported by funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital, has acquired DemoUp Cliplister. The group includes the multichannel software provider Billbee, the tax and invoicing tool Amazervice, the inventory management system VentoryOne, and the product data management tool Channel Pilot. By integrating DemoUp Cliplister, the group will further expand its offerings, enabling it to optimise the digital marketing of its clients' products and create additional cross-selling opportunities.
