International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, London branch and Investec Bank plc, on a £31 million placing and subscription for AIM-quoted Alpha Financial Markets Consulting plc, a leading global provider of specialist consultancy services to the Asset Management, Wealth Management and Insurance industries.
The net proceeds of the fundraise will be used to part-fund the cash payable by Alpha FMC under the acquisition of Lionpoint Holdings, Inc., a US-based provider of specialist consultancy services to the Alternative Investment industry.
Berenberg acted as joint bookrunner in connection with the placing. Investec acted as nominated adviser and joint bookrunner.
