Alexander helps US headquartered companies with their expansion, scale up or restructure of their businesses across European markets. He is a German qualified lawyer and 'Certified Specialist for Employment Law' (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht).
Alexander counsels in-house lawyers and HR employees of tech-driven companies with topics around HR Regulation and Compliance, including protection of business secrets from an employment perspective, as well as developing and implementing HR solutions around the Future of Work.
As a strategic, hands-on practitioner, Alexander leads restructurings and RIF's, counsels on employee management, as well as internal investigations and all other employment related topics. He has a vast wealth of experience in representing employers in all aspects of employment-related litigation before labour courts.
Alexander has a particular focus within the sectors Tech, Media and Comms, Life Sciences and Healthcare and Retail. Additionally, he has in-depth industry knowledge in ESports employment law.
Alexander has lived in Zimbabwe during his school, university and legal traineeship and has worked for lawyers in Belfast, Cologne, Istanbul and South Africa. His international approach has evolved naturally, most recently successfully advising our US clients for 18 months from New York.
