With effect from 1 January 2024, Osborne Clarke has appointed two new co-heads for its Corporate practice group: Dr Björn Hürten and Nicolas Gabrysch. Thereby, the firm is further advancing its specialisation within the Corporate practice group on M&A, VC and corporate advisory.
Osborne Clarke has grown in the past across all four offices as a firm taken as a whole as well as in its largest practice group Corporate. In addition to its existing market-leading presence in VC transactions, the firm has also succeeded in developing into a leading advisor for M&A transactions.
To continue this growth and sharpen the firm's profile, two new practice group heads were appointed at the turn of the year: M&A expert Dr Björn Hürten and venture capital specialist Nicolas Gabrysch now co-lead the practice group, which comprises around 50 lawyers.
“In future, we want to focus even more strongly and specifically on our three core competences of M&A, VC and corporate advisory, which are bundled in our group,” says Nicolas Gabrysch.
“Nicolas and I are looking forward to the task of further expanding our strengths in transaction advice in an international context and in the sectors together with our colleagues through our in-depth specialisation,” adds Dr Björn Hürten.
