International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised StudentCrowd, a decision-making platform for higher education, on its Series A fundraising round led by Mercia Ventures.
With its initial launch in 2014, StudentCrowd has embarked on a mission to alleviate the many challenges faced by prospective students when comparing their higher education options and over 1.7 million students made decisions on StudentCrowd last year. The investment will allow StudentCrowd to further expand its operations, address a wider range of student decision-making areas, whilst also improving data and related insights for the higher education sector.
Osborne Clarke's team was led by venture and growth capital partner Justin Starling and included senior associate Magnus Williams and senior associate Sian Daly.
