Hand-picked leisure tips for the largest German cities: that's what Rausgegangen offers. The digital platform curates locations and events for the app and website, from concerts, theatre performances, art happenings and parties to readings and flea markets. What began in 2015 with an email to 30 friends has now become an app and website with more than 2 million page views per month, around 3,000 organisers and 175,000 registered users. With its 44 employees, the company also offers business partners solutions for customised ticketing, online ticket sales, prize draws, guest lists and marketing.
The start-up, founded by Tim Betzin and Björn Kutzner, has now successfully completed a financing round: Business angels such as Marc Christ, Niklas Plath, Wilke Strotman, Timoor Taufig, Marius Brozi, Daniel Förster, Carina Hauswald, Catharina Ingwertsen and Oliver Roskopf are investing EUR 1.275 million in Rausgegangen.
The Osborne Clarke team that advised Rausgegangen consisted of Nicolas Gabrysch (lead) and Dana Alpar (both Corporate / VC).
