International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Liberum Capital Limited and Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG on the conditional £18 million placing, up to approximately £3.7m open offer and up to £3m retail offer through PrimaryBid for AIM-quoted Ilika plc, the advanced solid-state battery company.
The net proceeds of the fundraise are expected to support the development of Ilika’s solid-state electric vehicle pouch cells through its Goliath programme until the programme reaches and exceeds Lithium Ion Battery equivalence.
The fundraise, which was announced today (9 July 2021), is conditional on approval of shareholders at a general meeting on 28 July 2021.
Liberum is acting as Ilika's nominated adviser in connection with the fundraise. Liberum and Berenberg are acting as joint brokers and joint bookrunners in connection with the placing.
