International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised LDC and the other shareholders, including the ADEY senior management team, on the sale of ADEY, the UK market leader in solutions to protect water-based heating systems, to Polypipe Group plc, valuing the business at £210m. LDC is a leading mid-market private equity investor and long-standing client of Osborne Clarke.
During a four and a half year partnership with LDC, ADEY has grown net revenues from £34m (FY15) to £51m through domestic and international expansion and new product development.
The Osborne Clarke team was led by Private Equity Partner Alistair Francis with support from Senior Associate Jonny Gait, Associate Rebecca Ewing and Trainee Solicitor Chris Russell in the Corporate team. Additional support was also received from Partner Alisdair Livingstone (corporate), Associate Eleanor Cronin (banking) and Luolan Dong (tax).
