Osborne Clarke has advised firstminute capital on its investment in Munich-based HealthTech Vantis, which raised EUR 10 million in its Series A funding round.
Founded in 2019 by Till Jansen, Dr Maximilian Rödel, and Dr Kevin Wiesner, Vantis offers hybrid care for chronically ill patients by combining digital solutions such as telemedicine, data-driven remote monitoring and artificial intelligence (AI) support with regular doctor visits. To this end, Vantis operates a network of general medical practices for local primary care and has developed two digital therapy approaches – the Vantis CAD and Heart Attack App, which is already in use as a certified Digital Health Application (DiGA), and the Vantis Hypertension App.
The Munich-based HealthTech company has now completed its Series A funding round, raising EUR 10 million. In addition to firstminute capital and another existing investor b2venture, Bayern Kapital with its Growth Fund Bayern 2, Angelini Ventures and Twip Impact Ventures were involved. The fresh capital is to be invested in further expanding the team, developing data-driven, proactive management of chronically ill patients, and expanding the network of general medical practices.
“Significant investments are necessary for the digital transformation of the healthcare system so that everyone benefits in the end – doctors, patients and payers,” says Vantis CEO Jansen.
“With a strong vision for data-driven, proactive healthcare, Vantis is making primary care more efficient, accessible and patient-centric, especially for those who live with chronic conditions”, says firstminute capital.
firstminute capital was advised by an Osborne Clarke team consisting of Maximilian Vocke and Dana Alpar (both Corporate / Transactions).
