Osborne Clarke advises the Bitfury Group on its investment in Axelera AI B.V.

The Osborne Clarke in the Netherlands team has again advised the Bitfury Group on its investment in Axelera AI B.V., a company designing the world’s most efficient and advanced solutions for AI at the edge. The $12 million seed round led by Bitfury was joined by global nanoelectronics R&D center imec and deep-tech venture capital funds Innovation Industries and imec.xpand.

Earlier this year the team advised LiquidStack (part of the Bitfury Group) on its $10 million Series A financing round.

The Osborne Clarke team was led by Partner Herke van Hulst and consisted of Senior Associate Wouter Kok and Associate Deniz Xinyi Bussing (Corporate M&A).
