Osborne Clarke advised Allgeier SE on the acquisition of the shares in it-novum GmbH. The transaction is expected to close in the coming days.
it-novum GmbH is a digitisation specialist for open source-based software solutions based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the last financial year 2020, the company achieved a total operating performance of EUR 12.4 million with an EBITDA of EUR 2.3 million. With 20 years of project experience, the Big Data expert is regarded as a leading consulting and integration partner for open source products and technologies for the public sector as well as well-known corporations and companies in the upper midmarket.
Allgeier is one of the largest full-service providers for software solutions and IT services with its own software products in Germany. Over 3,000 employees serve more than 2,000 customers from the public sector, corporate groups as well as market and industry leaders. Following the acquisitions of publicplan GmbH at the beginning of the year and Cloudical GmbH in June, Allgeier is continuing its growth strategy with the acquisition of it-novum. Osborne Clarke has already advised its long-standing client Allgeier on both of these transactions.
