Osborne Clarke has advised Euregio+ and Redstone on their investment in the AI and software company Covision Media as part of a EUR 5 million seed funding round.

Covision Media, founded in 2020 by Burkhard Güssefeld and Franz Tschimben, specialises in realistic 3D models of products with AI-based 3D scanners. Brands such as Meta, the Inditex Group, and Adidas already use the company's 3D models.

The company from Bessanone, Italy, has now successfully completed a EUR 5 million seed financing round. In addition to Euregio+ and Redstone, The Techshop, a group of entrepreneurs led by Harald Oberrauch, and high-profile angel investors, including the Tyrolean Business Angels Network, also participated; the round was led by the Artificial Intelligence Fund of CDP Venture Capital. With the newly acquired capital, Covision Media aims to drive the expansion of the company as well as the development and global marketing of its 3D scanning technology.

The team that advised Euregio+ and Redstone, led by Maximilian Vocke, consisted of Dana Alpar, Martina Serbelloni and Giuliano Lanzavecchia (all Corporate / Transactions).
