International legal practice Osborne Clarke welcomes Willem Henckens who joins its Brussels office this week as senior counsel. With 20 years' experience gained at highly respected international law firms, Willem specializes in dispute resolution, criminal and regulatory enforcement.
An expert in fraud and white collar crime, Willem advises corporates and private individuals on the wide range of issues around criminal or regulatory investigations, or with enforcement action by regulators or the public prosecutor's office.
He brings extensive experience in shareholder and general corporate disputes, director’s liability, insolvency litigation, damages claims, wrongful termination of contract, post M&A claims, summary proceedings seeking injunctive relief. He has also represented clients before regulatory bodies in administrative proceedings and appellate litigation regarding alleged market abuse and insider trading.
