Osborne Clarke has opened a new office in Miami. The office is led by Javier Fernández-Samaniego, former managing partner of Samaniego Law. The new, strategic location is Osborne Clarke's third US office and 26th international location.
Fernández-Samaniego plans to work closely with Osborne Clarke Solutions, specialists in legal tech & service innovation. The new location manager's former company was already known for its innovative and transformative legal interim management services and managed services solutions. In the new position, the legal practice will also benefit from Fernández-Samaniego's expertise in IT and data protection law as well as international arbitration, which he has acquired during his 25-year career at leading commercial law firms.
The new office is expected to further strengthen Osborne Clarke's presence in the US. “I feel very honoured to lead the opening of Osborne Clarke in Miami and contribute to the development of its international arbitration services and its technology, media and communication sector group,” Javier Fernández-Samaniego explains.
