The London leveraged finance team has once again advised key client Kartesia on new acquisition financings.  Kartesia provided a unitranche facility and additional committed facilities to support leading UK mid-market private equity specialist Graphite Capital in its acquisition of UK-based IT managed services provider Digital Space.

Osborne Clarke also supported the specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies on its new acquisition facilities to Firstcom Europe, the leading Pan European telecoms company, for the purposes of its acquisition of Calteq, located in Hertfordshire and Suffolk.

Head of Leveraged Finance, Laurie Keel, commented: "It has been great to once again support Kartesia on its UK acquisition financings, this time showcasing our bandwidth and depth by completing both deals in the same week.  Our tech/comms/digitalisation focus knits well with Kartesia's expertise in these areas, so we were delighted to once again be able to assist them in executing smooth transactions in support of their customers.  A super effort from all members of the Kartesia/Osborne Clarke teams."

The Osborne Clarke team was led by Laurie Keel, alongside James Hunt (Senior Associate), Jon Dodds (Associate), Anmol Gill (Associate), Anita Ikpea (Paralegal), James Thorne (Paralegal), with superb specialist support from Louise Oliver (Associate Director, Real Estate), Elizabeth Shanahan (Tax) and Kirsty Poulton (Tax).
