James has extensive experience advising banks and debt funds on a wide range of financing options covering investment grade to highly leveraged products. He has a particular focus on acquisition and leveraged finance with exposure to both sponsor-backed transactions and corporate event-driven deals.
Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, James trained and spent the first seven years of his career at a Magic Circle firm, with six months on secondment to their banking team in Amsterdam. His experience also includes a 10 month secondment to a leading US bank.
