Osborne Clarke advises Synova on Unity5 investment

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised leading growth investor Synova on its investment in Unity Five Limited. Synova is investing alongside co-founders Dave Herbert and Lukasz Kieruczenko who will continue to hold a material stake in the company.
Founded in Exeter in 2010, Unity5 provides real-time enforcement and permitting software for private parking companies and local authorities to manage parking, traffic, and environmental regulations. The leading software provider delivers SaaS solutions through “ZatSuite”, the UK’s leading provider of software to the parking and traffic management sector providing turnkey solutions for both public bodies and private companies to effectively monitor and manage traffic and mobility services.
In addition to focussing on organic growth, Synova’s investment in Unity5 will provide capital for targeted M&A to expand Unity5’s product set and reach as well as support international expansion after recent wins in Europe and APAC.
Osborne Clarke's team has previously advised Synova on a number of transactions, including the sale of majority stake in Mintec and on the buy-out of JM Glendinning.
