Osborne Clarke has advised the climate tech start-up Reonic on its Series A financing round of EUR 13 million.
Reonic was founded in 2021 by Tristan Menzinger, Lars-Manuel Schneider and Udo Sill in Augsburg with the goal of helping mid-market installers manage the growing complexity of the energy transition. The start-up has developed planning and workflow software for integrating renewable technologies into homes and businesses. The solution facilitates the digitalisation of business processes and increases efficiency in the installation and maintenance of renewable energy solutions.
“Renewable technologies are one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe, but installers often lack digital tools. Our goal is to make these professionals competitive and promote their growth,” says Lars-Manuel Schneider.
The company, which recently opened a second office in Berlin, reports that it has tripled its recurring revenue over the past six months. Now, as part of a Series A financing round, Northzone, Point Nine, and Puzzle Ventures have invested EUR 13 million in Reonic. With the fresh capital, Reonic aims to drive its expansion in Europe and hire new employees.
The Osborne Clarke team advising Reonic, led by Nicolas Gabrysch, consisted of Dr Felix Dörrenbächer, Benedikt Hülsmann, Henriette Willing (all Corporate / VC), Konstantin Sitte (IP), Dr Jens Wrede (Tax), André Braig (Employment Law), and Dr Florian Eisenmenger (Data Protection).
