Osborne Clarke, with a team coordinated by partner Filippo Palmieri and composed of associate Antonio Maria Sessa and trainee Federica Miani, assisted Nerea S.p.A. in the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of SI.BE. S.r.l., a company based in the Marche region of Italy and owner of the ‘ROANA’ brand, operating in the sector of capturing, bottling and trading mineral water, bottled in glass and PET.

Nerea, one of the leading market players in the Italian natural mineral water industry, is thus continuing the extraordinary path of expansion undertaken several years ago under the leadership of the Rossi family, strengthening its presence particularly in the bottling in glass and marketing of mineral water.

In general terms, the acquisition of Acqua ROANA is aimed at Nerea's establishment by a new bottling and distribution pole for mineral water in central Italy, located in the setting of the Sibillini Mountains.   

This acquisition will thus enable Nerea to expand its commercial offer and to strengthen, in particular, the distribution to its customers of mineral water bottled in glass.
