International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Highland Europe on its co-lead investment with 83North in Danish open-podcast platform Podimo’s €58,6 million funding round.
Podimo is a Copenhagen-based podcast and audio entertainment subscription service that offers a mix of RSS feed content, curated podcasts, audiobooks and its own productions. It has produced more than 950 original podcasts and audiobooks and has partnership deals with some of the biggest content producers and authors in the world. The service is available in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands and across Latin America. The company was founded in 2019 and today has 225 employees.
Highland Europe is a growth-stage technology fund that invests in internet, mobile, consumer and software companies across Europe and Israel, and 83North is a global venture capital firm that invests across all stages of consumer and enterprise companies in Europe and Israel.
