Osborne Clarke has advised InsurTech company hepster on its EUR 10 million equity and debt investment by Element Ventures, Seventure Partners and Claret Capital Partners.
hepster offers insurance solutions for partner companies in all industries, which can be integrated into the respective processes via an API interface. These include, for example, policies for electronics, mobility, sports equipment, animals or travel. According to their information, the company has already brokered insurance for 250,000 customers. In recent years, around EUR 27 million has been raised in various financing rounds.
hepster is already active in Germany, Austria and France and wants to use the fresh capital to enable further growth in Europe and to strengthen profitability and sustainable growth in the existing markets.
The team that advised hepster, led by Nicolas Gabrysch (Corporate / VC), consisted of Dana Alpar and Benedikt Hülsmann (both Corporate / VC) for the equity component and Olexiy Oleshchuk and Irina Kharag (both Finance) for the venture debt component.
