Osborne Clarke advises Eight Roads on its lead in 7bridges' $17M Series A fundraising round

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Eight Roads Ventures, on its lead investment in 7bridges $17 million Series A fundraising round. Eight Roads led the round together with Local Globe and enterprise VC Crane. With this round 7 bridges has raised just over $20 million to date.

Eight Roads is a global venture capital fund that has previously invested in Alibaba, Cazoo and Appsflyer.

7bridges aims to simplify supply chain logistics by way of an AI-based automation platform which ingests a company’s supply chain, operating and logistics data to present a user with optimized recommendations for how to move goods. 

Integrated logistics company, Maersk, is also in the round as a strategic backer: Maersk will be working with 7bridges to integrate its logistics and shipping data into 7bridges to help Maersk customers manage their logistics more easily.
