Osborne Clarke advised Crippa S.p.A. - a company operating in the design and construction of machines for bending and working metal tubes for industrial applications, purchased in June 2020 as part of a club deal organised by independent innovative investment adviser Astraco - in its integration with and investment in SMI, a company operating in the same sector, with the support of Illimity bank.
Partners Giuliano Lanzavecchia and Antonio Fugaldi led Osborne Clarke's team with senior lawyer Chiara Carioti and trainee Sofia Stefani.
Campa Avvocati advised Crippa on the legal and contractual due diligence of the acquisition while Palmieri e Associati advised the company on the tax due diligence. Orrick advised Illimity bank.
