Osborne Clarke and Eversheds Sutherland assisted, respectively, Colliers Global Investors Italy SGR S.p.A (previously Antirion), on behalf of the citizenM Italian Properties reserved closed-end real estate fund, as beneficiary, and MPS Capital Services S.p.A., as MLA bank and bookrunner, financing bank and agent bank, in the context of a complex project financing transaction, aimed, among others, at financing the works for the redevelopment of the fund's property in via Lungotevere de' Cenci 5-8, Rome. The property will be used as a 4-star hotel with LEED certification and, upon completion of the redevelopment works, will be entrusted to a company belonging to the Dutch group citizenM, which will inaugurate the first hotel in Italy under this brand.
