Osborne Clarke in Sweden has advised its long-standing client Centra on its SEK 100 million fundraising from Verdane, the Northern European specialist growth equity investor.
Centra provides an e-commerce platform that helps midmarket consumer goods brands with their Direct-to-Consumer and wholesale operations. It provides a comprehensive solution for brands looking for an alternative to the more complex enterprise-level solutions, and has already established itself as the preferred vendor among brands in Sweden, working with businesses such as Sandqvist, Nudie Jeans and Eton Shirts.
The funding will support Centras internationalisation, growth and product enhancement as it further develops its platform and offering to consumer, fashion, and lifestyle brands.
The team advising Centra was led by Partner Mikael Nelson (Corporate/VC), supported by Associates Kayla Perjons and Rebecca Brindeby.
Osborne Clarke’s Corporate team is considered a go-to practice for many companies in the technology and retail sector, working with global businesses to fast-growth start-ups and market challengers. The team advises at every stage of company development across all corporate issues, from equity and debt fundraisings to M&A, IPOs and JVs.
