Osborne Clarke advised Greek bank, Alpha Bank S.A., Luxembourg branch, as lender, in its first fronting lending transaction in Italy in favour of Castello SGR S.p.A., on behalf of the 'Intracento' reserved closed-end real estate alternative investment fund, to finance the acquisition and restructuring of a premium asset in Via Cavour in Rome, currently leased to, among others, the Ministry of the Interior.

Osborne Clarke assisted Alpha Bank in negotiating the transaction and preparing the financial documentation, with a team comprising Andrea Pinto, Head of Financial Services, associate Alessandro Generali and junior associates Ilaria Cutolo and Bianca Tomassetti. The team was also supported by co-managing partner Giorgio Lezzi for urban planning matters, associate Roberto Salis for real estate issues, and partner Claudio Grisanti for tax aspects.
