Osborne Clarke advised on the financing for the redevelopment of the former Hotel Majestic in Rome

With a loan of Euro 111.2 million, granted through a bond issue, the former Hotel Majestic in Rome will undergo a major redevelopment project. Upon completion, it will have 87 rooms, will be repositioned as the 5-star Baccarat Hotel Rome and will be managed by the hotel manager Starwood Hotels.
Osborne Clarke advised the loan-on-loan lenders (Alpha Bank and Piraeus Bank) on the banking and structuring aspects of the loan on loan financing with a cross-practice team led by partner Andrea Pinto, Head of Financial Services, assisted by associates Alessandro Generali and Fabrizio Ducci and junior associate Bianca Tomassetti, associate Roberto Salis for real estate aspects, and partner Claudio Grisanti, Head of Tax.
K&L Gates and EY Studio Legale Tributario advised the lender Invel, and White & Case advised the outgoing investor.
