International legal practice Osborne Clarke was crowned winner of the Award for Diversity and Inclusion at the 2024 LexisNexis Legal Awards on 14 March. This follows the firm's success at the azur Awards in Germany last week, where it took home the top prize for the Innovation Award.
The LexisNexis Legal Award for Diversity and Inclusion recognised Osborne Clarke's UK diversity networks and Responsible Business team for their work in developing and driving opportunities through the promotion of equality of opportunity.
Judges were impressed by the firm's equity-focused vision, centred on supporting the recruitment, retention and progression of diverse talent within all areas of the business. This included work on the firm's Race and Gender Action Plans, Wellbeing at Work Strategy and Age-Friendly Employer Pledge.
The azur Awards recognised Osborne Clarke's German team for its information campaigns, allyship programmes and awareness-raising trainings to further advance the topic of diversity and inclusion for employees. The judges described diversity as 'a matter of honour' for the firm, recognising its holistic approach to D&I that sets it apart from others in the market.
This award follows the azur Top 100 Legal Employer rankings, in which Osborne Clarke was ranked 9th for 2024.
