Dr Marius Tillwich advises and represents companies in intellectual property and competition law.
He specializes in trademark law.
He has particular experience in both in-court and out-of-court litigation as well as in trademark research, registration and representation before trademark offices in disputes.
Marius studied law in Kiel at the Christian-Albrechts-University, where he specialized in intellectual property and antitrust law. Afterwards, he also completed his doctoral thesis at CAU Kiel on out-of-court dispute resolution, in particular in intellectual property law and the risks associated with antitrust law. In addition, he worked as a research assistant in intellectual property law at Osborne Clarke.
During his legal clerkship, he focused his legal practice further on intellectual property law, including working at chambers for copyright law and for competition and trademark law at the Regional Court of Hamburg and at a senate for competition law at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg. He completed his legal traineeship at a leading international law firm in Hamburg in the area of intellectual property.
