Alven is a senior associate in our IT practice group. He brings extensive experience in advising global digital platforms on all aspects of internet and social media law, particularly on privacy rights, contractual obligations, and intermediary liability. An important cornerstone of his work is compliance advice on regulatory law and related policy issues relevant to the technology sector and social media companies.

Alven represents leading technology clients in civil litigation at all levels, typically with multi-jurisdictional implications. He has a proven track record of successfully navigating complex legal landscapes and delivering favourable outcomes for his clients.

Specialising in drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, Alven has a particular emphasis on IT outsourcing and cloud service agreements. For his clients, Alven has negotiated numerous contracts with major technology suppliers.

Before joining Osborne Clarke, Alven worked as an IT and data protection lawyer at a global US law firm in Berlin.
