The new offence of failure to prevent fraud is expected to come into force next year, after the government publishes guidance prescribed by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. Our Insight looks at what businesses should do to mitigate their risk.

The new EU cybersecurity regime under the NIS2 directive is due to be implemented into Member States' national law by 17 October. Our Insight looks at the status of the implementation measures in a number of jurisdictions and at how businesses can best prepare to be compliant.

Next month, our data law experts will look at how businesses should manage data subject access requests, which can often be challenging and time-consuming (as well as the source of many complaints to the regulator).
