Welcome to this week's Knowledge Collection
The level of environment, social and governance (ESG) risk can be hard for businesses to assess. Our webinar, as part of our Disputes Week of events, considers the impact of shareholder activism on companies' risk profiles in relation to statements made about sustainability. Our ESG Knowledge Update covers recent developments (including our greenwashing briefing which takes a closer look at the approach of UK and EU regulators in certain sectors), and our Regulatory Outlook gives a high-level overview of a range of regulatory changes that businesses can expect in future.
Cyber security is also a growing area of focus around the world – for legislators, businesses and individuals alike. Our in-person workshop on effective incident response looks at the key decisions and actions to be taken in the immediate aftermath of a cyber attack, and our Regulatory Outlook sets out what progress regulators and law enforcement in the UK and EU are making in their efforts to tighten up cyber resilience.
In England, the new building safety regime received its first tribunal decision on remediation claims. Our webinar looks at what the ramifications are of this and other litigation that building owners and developers can expect to see following the implementation of the Building Safety Act.
