REMOTE WORK
As of April 7, 2023, remote work was introduced into the Labor Code in response to pandemic needs, displacing the previous provisions on teleworking.
According to the code we can distinguish 3 main types of remote work :
- Standard - agreed upon at the conclusion or already ongoing employment relationship
- By employer's order - introduced by order, e.g.: due to an epidemic emergency
- Occasional- 24 days per calendar year
Remote work can be carried out wholly or partly at a location designated by the employee and agreed with the employer in each case, including the employee's home address, in particular using means of direct communication at a distance. In a post-pandemic world, this type of work performance has become an integral part of the employment market.

Remote work from abroad
In recent times workaction or simply working remotely from abroad has become a global trend.
As of July 1, 2023, as a result of the Framework Agreement on the application of Article 16(1) of Regulation (EC) No. 883/2004 in cases of habitual cross-border telework and telework as posting or work in several countries, working from abroad has become even easier.
OC experts offer support and advice in enabling employees to provide remote work from abroad. This type of work, due to the employee's distance, can give rise to various risks and requires additional forms of security due to the lack of ad hoc control, tax issues, immigration issues or even the regulations of the destination country, among others.
- Thus, OC experts offer preparation:
- remote work regulations;
- agreement with the employee to perform remote work;
- a statement by the employee that he or she has suitable conditions for remote work;
- a statement by the employee on compliance with OSH requirements at the remote work site;
- occupational risk assessment;
- Information on the principles of a safe and hygienic remote workplace;
- data protection procedures;
- separate procedures and documents for remote work from abroad;
- verifications of tax and Social Security issues;
- others at the customer's request.
