Osborne Clarke advises Itelyum on its acquisition of a corporate group consisting of 4 companies active in the ecology sector and treatment of municipal and industrial waste

Osborne Clarke advised Itelyum, a leader in the management, valorisation and recycling of industrial waste, in the acquisition of Specialacque S.r.l., together with its subsidiaries J-Wam S.r.l. and W-Jam Lab, and Specialspurghi S.r.l., which make up a group of companies specialising in the waste management sector, in particular in the treatment of urban and industrial waste water, headed by the parent company Pietro S.r.l.

Osborne Clarke acted with a multidisciplinary team led by partner Giovanni Penzo, assisted by associate Myriam Ambrosio and trainee Gaia Lagrasta, for corporate mstters, by partner Giorgio Lezzi, assisted by associate Giulia Bonzini and trainee Giulia Perselli, for environmental and administrative aspects, and with the support of associate Roberto Salis and trainee Giovanna Costa for real estate matters.

Forvis Mazars acted as advisor supporting Itelyum both for the financial and tax due diligence.

The Sellers, for the financial, corporate, legal and contractual aspects, were assisted by Studio Gnecchi Associati - Dottori Commercialisti and Studio Legale e Tributario Vincenzi Gnecchi.

The acquisition is part of Itelyum's broader growth strategy, which aims to strengthen its leadership in the Italian industrial waste management market and expand its technological expertise. The integration of Specialacque and the other companies takes place within an entrepreneurial ecosystem that shares the same values of innovation, sustainability and valorisation of resources.
