Osborne Clarke has advised recalm GmbH on its successful Series A financing round of over EUR 3 million. This investment will support recalm in further expanding its audio and communication solutions for machine operators and establishing a new production site in Barleben near Magdeburg.
The Hamburg-based company recalm, a pioneer in the development of audio technologies for machine and vehicle cabins, is particularly known for its Active Noise Cancelling technology ANCOR. This technology has already gained traction with machine manufacturers such as Sennebogen, Kaiser, and Menzi Muck and is now set to be further developed and launched as the cabin integration solution ANCOR Custom 2026.
The financial foundation for this has now been laid with the company's successful Series A financing round: The IBG Risk Capital Fund IV managed by bmp Ventures AG, SymbiaVC, as well as existing investors Silvercrown Capital SE (KRONE Group) and GREENEERING INVEST AG, are investing a total of EUR 3 million in recalm.
“This investment is a clear sign of the market maturity and acceptance of our product solution and brings us closer to our goal of transforming the industry with forward-looking solutions,” said recalm CEO Marc von Elling.
With the financial support of the investors, recalm plans to consolidate and further expand its market position as a leading provider of audio technologies for machine cabins. The partnerships formed not only provide recalm with access to important networks but also enable the scaling of series production and business development.
The Osborne Clarke team that advised recalm, led by Maximilian Vocke, consisted of Dr Felix Dörrenbächer and Giovanni Alexandrov (all Corporate / Transactions).
