International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the Gustoso Group on an investment in Italian restaurant chain Ciao Bella. The acquisition will strengthen the company’s catering business and allow them to expand.
The Gustoso Group is a fast-growing system catering group that operates restaurants under a number different brands. System catering is a method of standardized food preparation which can be duplicated at all branches of a catering chain. The company focuses on the organic growth of existing concepts and the support of system catering concepts, as well as the acquisition of companies.
Ciao Bella is an expert for pizza and pasta and one of the fastest growing franchise models in Germany. The company has currently over 40 locations, which are mostly located in highly frequented shopping centres and central stations. The company generates a turnover of over 10 million euros (2016) and achieves a continual growth of 30 per cent annually.
