Osborne Clarke has expanded its management team and appointed Carsten Knoll as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) on 1 January 2025. In this key position, Carsten Knoll will be co-responsible for the strategic and operational development of the legal practice in Germany and will also make a significant contribution to the direction of Osborne Clarke Germany. He will also lead the business services of the international legal practice as a professional and disciplinary supervisor.
With his experience in leading positions in international companies and in management consulting, Carsten Knoll brings extensive expertise in the areas of transformation, corporate and business development and professional services.

Carsten Knoll holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and has extensive experience in key business areas of consulting and industrial companies. His focus is on developing sound strategies in close collaboration with the teams and translating these into measurable results through efficient implementation.
